William A. Black

William A. was born on January 5th, 1843 in Chatham Co., GA.¹   William A.'s father was William Ashman Black and his mother was Mary Isabell Barnett. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Phineus H., Joseph Marion, Sarah E. and Marie Louise.  He was the oldest of the five children.  He died at the age of 83 on March 16th, 1926 in Screven Cty., GA.  He was buried in Live Oak Cem., Walterboro, SC.^1 1
