Andrew was born about 1620 in Epping, England.1   Andrew's father was John Benton and his mother was Mary Southernwood.  His paternal grandparents were Andrew Benton and Mary Unknown. He had a brother and two sisters, named Thomas, Marie and Elizabeth.  He was the oldest of the four children.  He died on July 31st.1
