Alton Beard

Alton's father was Joseph Luther Beard and his mother was Lessie Stewart. His paternal grandparents were Jesse H. Beard and Sarah A. Bazemore; his maternal grandparents were Charles Jackson Stewart and Ella M. Bazemore. He had four brothers and seven sisters, named Cecil, Leslie, Fred, Harmon, Jean, Josie, Leola, Louise, Pauline, Carlyn and Claudine.
