Sarah I. was born about 1843.1 Sarah I.'s father was Robert R. Bazemore and her mother was Sarah Williams. Her paternal grandparents were Starkey Bazemore and Cynthia Rawls. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Jacob, Robert Henry, Mary A., Malissa C., Catherine and Martha E.. She was the second oldest of the seven children.1 -
