Robert R. was born about 1820 in Screven Co., GA.1 Robert R.'s father was Starkey Bazemore and his mother was Cynthia Rawls. His paternal grandfather was James Bazemore; his maternal grandfather was John Rawls. He had five brothers and three sisters, named John A., James Perry, Humphrey, William, Lewis, Georgia A., Temply and Elizabeth. He was the third oldest of the nine children.1 -
