Perry was born on November 20th, 1824 in Screven Co., GA.1 Perry's father was Humphrey Bazemore and his mother was Elizabeth Rawls. His paternal grandfather was James Bazemore; his maternal grandfather was John Rawls. He had two brothers and five sisters, named James Allen, Thomas, Elizabeth, Penelope, Mary E., Rachel and Sarah.1 -
