Penelope was born about 1826 in Screven Co., GA.1 Penelope's father was Humphrey Bazemore and her mother was Elizabeth Rawls. Her paternal grandfather was James Bazemore; her maternal grandfather was John Rawls. She had three brothers and four sisters, named James Allen, Thomas, Perry, Elizabeth, Mary E., Rachel and Sarah.1 -
