Cassie Verona was born on June 30th, 1890.1   Cassie Verona's father was Redding Smith Bazemore and her mother was Caroline Iola Wells.  Her paternal grandparents were James Allen Bazemore and Jeanette Wells; her maternal grandparents were John Matthew Wells and Jane E. Thompson. She had four brothers and a sister, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Henry William, Juddie Judson, Hoyt R., Cleveland W., Frances Zulime and Bazemore.  She was the third youngest of the seven children.  She died at the age of 82 on July 12th, 1972.1
