Gideon Barnes 
Gideon was born on August 1st, 1714.1 Gideon's father was Ebenezer Barnes and his mother was Deborah Orvis. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Barnes and Mary Andrew Barnes; his maternal grandparents were Samuel Orvis and Deborah Unknown. He had nine brothers and six sisters, named Thomas, Jedediah, Stephen, Amos, David, John, William, Ebenezer, Abiah, Anna, Deborah, Mary, Esther, Abigail and Lucy. He died at the age of 42 on March 21st, 1757 in Bristol, Hartford, CT.1 General Notes
