Rexford Banes 
Rexford was born in 1883 in Goodland, Indiana.1 Rexford's father was William Banes and his mother was Aurelia Isabelle Spinney. His paternal grandparents were William Banes and Betsy Ann Mills; his maternal grandparents were Arthur J. Spinney and Susanna Boyd. He had three sisters named Myrtle Isabelle, Lela and Bethel. He was the second oldest of the four children.1 -
