Daniel Bacon 
Daniel was born in 1620 in Winston, Suffolk, England.1 Daniel's father was Michael Bacon and his mother was Alice Unknown. His paternal grandparents were Michael Bacon and Elizabeth Wylie. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Michael, Thomas, William, John, Elizabeth, Sarah and Alice. He was the fourth youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 71 on September 7th, 1691 in Newton, Massachusetts.2 General Notes

Daniel Bacon:
Daniel came to Dedham with his father in 1640. He was made a freeman 26 May 1647. An original proprietor of Woburn, Massachusetts in 1640. Daniel was early at Bridgewater and bought a farm there from Timothy Reed, Esquire, which he sold to "his nephew Michael Bacon, Jr. of Billerica". Probably went to Cambridge in 1668, purchasing land there, and in Watertown in 1669 bought 25 acres for 60 poundsin Newton, partially in Watertown. Inventory was 143 pounds.
