Gottfried Arenz

Gottfried was born on May 16th, 1856 in Germany and his baptism took place about 1870 in Immigrated from Germany.¹   Gottfried's father was John Arenz and his mother was Gertrude Wirtz.  His paternal grandparents were Hubert Arenz and Mary S. Miller. He had three brothers and three sisters, named John, Joseph, Nicolous, Margaret, Agness and Josephine.  He was the oldest of the seven children.  He died  due to lump of jaw at the age of 46 on July 11th, 1902 in Middle Ridge, Wisconsin.  He was buried in 1900 in census lists "farmer".^1 1
