Donald was born about 1899 and his baptism took place in listed in brother's (Nicholas) bible.1 Donald's father was Gottfried Arenz and his mother was Anna Maria Halbach. His paternal grandparents were John Arenz and Gertrude Wirtz; his maternal grandparents were Johan Joseph Halbach and Anna Catharina Schmitz. He had five brothers and four sisters, named John, Joseph, Nicholas Gottfried, George, Herbert, Anney, Kate, Abaggy and Margaret "Sister M. Almira".1 -
