John Allen 
John was born on August 9th, 1659 in Dedham, Massachusetts.1 John's father was Edward Allen and his mother was Sarah Kimball. His maternal grandparents were Richard Kimball and Ursula Scott. He had six brothers and seven sisters, named Edward, Benjamin, Samuel, Caleb, David, William, Sarah, Elizabeth, Martha, Abigail, Mary, Sarah and Anna Ellen. He died at the age of 44 on May 11th, 1704 in Deerfield, Massachusetts.1 General Notes

John and his father came to Suffield about 1678, he was granted 40 acres and had the first Ferry there. John and his wife were slain by Indians 11 May 1704. His daughter Sarah was captured by Indians in 1704.
