Leander Floyd Addington

Leander Floyd was born on February 8th, 1880 in Gate City, Virginia. Leander Floyd's father was Andrew Jackson Addington and his mother was Sarah Anne Ramey. His paternal grandparents were Andrew Jackson Addington and Verlina Easter Hutchinson; his maternal grandparents were John H. Ramey and Yarina Osborne. He had eleven brothers and five sisters, named Albert Ulysses, John Hutchinson, James Winfiled Scott, Hugh Emmett, Wiley Martin, Daniel Moscoe, William Henderson, Robert W., Charles Clinton, Leonard Lafayette, Cecil Jay, Laura Melvina, Lizzie Mae, Lula V., Rena Mazella and Leota Belle. He was the nineth oldest of the seventeen children. He died at the age of 79 on May 15th, 1959 in Pineville, Bell County, Kentucky.
