John Morrison Smyth

John Morrison was born in 1846 in Kentucky, USA.¹ John Morrison's father was William Smyth and his mother was Elizabeth Ramsy Orr. His maternal grandparents were Alexander Orr and Faithy Russell. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Alexander Alec, Grun B, William Tennessee, James David, Alfred C, Jesse Madison, Louvina Jane, Delina C, Armina and Amanda Gram. He was the oldest of the eleven children.
