Mary Buchanan Randolph 
Mary Buchanan was born in 1822. Mary Buchanan's father was Thomas Jefferson Randolph and her mother was Jane Hollins Nicholas. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Mann Jr Randolph and Martha Jefferson; her maternal grandparents were Wilson Cary Nicholas and Margaret Smith. She had five brothers and eight sisters, named Thomas Jefferson, Dr. Wilson Cary Nicholas, Merryweather Lewis, J Margaret, William S, Margaret Smith, Patsey Jefferson, Cary Ann Nicholas, Ellen Wayles, Maria Jefferson Carr, Caroline Ramsay, Jane Nicholas and Sarah Nicholas. She was the fourth oldest of the fourteen children.General Notes
