Cornelia Jefferson Randolph 
Cornelia Jefferson was born in 1814.1 Cornelia Jefferson's father was Thomas Mann Jr Randolph and her mother was Martha Jefferson. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Mann Randolph and Anne Cary; her maternal grandparents were Thomas President Jefferson and Martha Wayles. She had six brothers and six sisters, named Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, James Madison, Benjamin Franklin, Meriweather Lewis, George Wythe, Anne Cary, Ellen Wayles, Ellen Wayles, Virginia, Mary Jefferson and Septimia Anne. She was the third youngest of the thirteen children. She died at the age of 57 on February 24th, 1871 in died single.General Notes
Cornelia Jefferson (1799-1871; pictured at right) and Mary Jefferson (1803-1876) never married and in the 1830s and 1840s operated a ladies' school at the Randolph home Edgehill, which was not far from Monticello. An amateur artist, Cornelia taught drawing, painting, and sculpture.
