Valentine Peyton 
Valentine's father was Henry Peyton and his mother was Ann Thornton. His paternal grandparents were Valentine Peyton and Francis Linton. He had two brothers and a sister, named Timothy, Henry and Mary. He had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named John, Thomas, Frances and Elizabeth. He died on May 12th, 1780 in Charleston, SC.General Notes
Capt. Valentine PEYTON died on 12 May 1780 in Charleson, SC. No issue It appears to the satisfaction of the Court, by evidence presented that Valentine Peyton, a Captain in the Revolutionary War, left no children at his death. Timothy Peyton, an elder brother, was his heir at law.
