William Russell Orr 
William Russell was born on February 7th, 1829 in Lee, Virginia, USA.1 William Russell's father was Alexander Orr and his mother was Faithy Russell. His paternal grandparents were Alexander Orr and Margaret Peggy Ramsey; his maternal grandparents were John Russell and Rachel Hobbs. He had two brothers and seven sisters, named Alexander Ransom, John M, Elizabeth Ramsy, Nancy, Rachel B, Margaret, Mary B, Sarah K and Lavina M. He was the third oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 35 on December 26th, 1864 in Camp Douglas, Chicago, Illinois, USA.1 -
