John Murray 
John was born in 1856 in KY. John's father was Thomas P Murray and his mother was Margaret M. His paternal grandparents were William Murray and Eliza Whitney. He had five brothers and three sisters, named William, Alex, Henry, Robert, Thomas P, Annie, Mary and Margaret M. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children.
