Jamila Lofton

Jamila was born in January 1867 in KY.¹   Jamila's father was Thomas D Lofton and her mother was Charity Rhodes.  Her maternal grandparents were Robert Wiley Rhodes and Louiza. She had four brothers named Lou, Benjamin F, John and Robert Thomas.  She was the oldest of the five children. She had a half-brother and four half-sisters, named S H, Mary Ann, H, Marcella Lutitia and Nancy L M.  She was buried in Higgins Cemetery, Land Between the Lakes, Trigg Co., KY.²
