Owen was born on July 24th, 1798 in Caswell, NC, USA.1 Owen's father was Groves Howard. His paternal grandparents were Francis Howard and Ann Allen. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Groves Lea, Franklin, Solomon, Logan, Nancie Slade, Leah and Catherine Graves. He was the third oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 33 in 1831 in Caldwell, KY, USA.1 -
