Leah was born on September 11th, 1796 in Caswell, NC, USA.1 Leah's father was Groves Howard. Her paternal grandparents were Francis Howard and Ann Allen. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Groves Lea, Owen, Franklin, Solomon, Logan, Nancie Slade and Catherine Graves. She was the second oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 59 on August 20th, 1856 in Lyon, KY, USA.1 -
