Reason was born in 1736 in Rock Creek, Frederick, MD,. Reason's father was Abraham A Holland and her mother was Nancy Simpson. She had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Basil, William and Rachel. She died at the age of 66 in 1802 in Abbeville, Abbeville Sc.
