Sterling was born on August 22nd, 1899 in Vernal, Uintah, UT, USA.1 Sterling's father was Albert Alonzo Haws and his mother was Sarah Ann Stradling. His maternal grandparents were STRADLING and BUSH. He had seven brothers and two sisters, named Louis Albert, Owen Alonzo, William Alvin, Jesse Austin, Joseph Marlow, Morris Amoron, Glen Asael, Mary Armina and Lucy Elnora. He was the fifth youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 81 on April 23rd, 1981 in Provo, Utah, UT, USA.1 -
