Mary Symmes was born on January 22nd, 1809 in Vincennes, IN, USA.1 Mary Symmes' father was William Henry Harrison and her mother was Anna Tuthill Symmes. Her paternal grandparents were Benjamin Harrison and Elizabeth Bassett; her maternal grandparents were Judge John Cleves Symmes and Anna Tuthill. She had six brothers and three sisters, named John Cleves, William Henry, John Scott, Benjamin, Carter Bassett, James Findlay, Elizabeth Bassett, Lucy Singleton and Anna Tuthill. She was the fourth youngest of the ten children. She died at the age of 33 on November 16th, 1842 in Cleves, OH, USA.1 -
