John Cleves Harrison 
John Cleves was born in 1798. John Cleves' father was William Henry Harrison and his mother was Anna Tuthill Symmes. His paternal grandparents were Benjamin Harrison and Elizabeth Bassett; his maternal grandparents were Judge John Cleves Symmes and Anna Tuthill. He had five brothers and four sisters, named William Henry, John Scott, Benjamin, Carter Bassett, James Findlay, Elizabeth Bassett, Lucy Singleton, Mary Symmes and Anna Tuthill. He was the second oldest of the ten children.-
