Spence Monroe Grayson 
Spence Monroe was born on May 17th, 1774 in Prince William, VA, USA.1 Spence Monroe's father was Spence Grayson and his mother was Mary Elizabeth Wagoner. His paternal grandparents were Benjamin Grayson and Susan Monroe; his maternal grandfather was Peter Wagener. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Samuel, Benjamin, William, Peter, Beverly Robinson, Catherine, Susan Monroe, Mary, Judith, Sally and Caroline Ann. He was the sixth youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 35 in 1809.1 General Notes

CEMETERY IS SITUATED BACK OF THE BRANDON HALL HOUSE OFF HIGHWAY 61. LEAVE WASHINGTON ON HIGHWAY 61 - OLD ROAD. RIDE ABOUT 4 MILES TO BRANDON HALL - TURN OFF TO RIGHT TO THE HOME WHICH IS ABOUT A QUARTER OF A MILE FROM THE HIGHWAY. GRAYSON CEMETERY IS ALMOST WITHIN SIGHT OF HOUSE, ABOUT 200 YARDS. CEMETERY IN BAD SHAPE, NO FENCE, STONES CRUMBLED.
