She had four brothers and five sisters, named James, Zachariah, John, Edward, Mary, Rachael, Kizziah, Jane and Martha Jane. She was the youngest of the ten children. She had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Sherman, Jacob, Robert, Sarah E and Matilda.-
