Estel was born in 1911.1 Estel's father was Henry Josh Dennison and his mother was Lydia Jane Chancellor. His paternal grandparents were Henry Clay(Josh) Dennison and Eliza Ann Weedman. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Roy Lee, Stanley Chancellor, Harlan, Percy, Bessie, Vera, Hazel Gladys and Anna Bell.-
