William Orr Cooper 
William Orr was born on March 21st, 1811 in Trigg Co., KY.1 William Orr's father was David Lee Cooper and his mother was Elizabeth Orr. His paternal grandparents were Marcome Cooper and Sarah Juliet Randolph; his maternal grandparents were Samuel Orr and Charlotte Randolph. He had six brothers and five sisters, named George, Henry C, David F, Daniel, Franklin, Webster, Charlotte Randolph, Elizabeth Temple, Juliette Granville, Endora and Minerva. He was the oldest of the twelve children. He had a half-brother and four half-sisters, named Albert J, Jealey, Sarah Ann, Elvira and Tabitha. He died at the age of 51 in 1862 in St. Clair Co., MO.1 General Notes
