Franklin Cooper 
Franklin was born on February 17th, 1828 in Trigg Co., KY.1 Franklin's father was David Lee Cooper and his mother was Elizabeth Orr. His paternal grandparents were Marcome Cooper and Sarah Juliet Randolph; his maternal grandparents were Samuel Orr and Charlotte Randolph. He had six brothers and five sisters, named William Orr, George, Henry C, David F, Daniel, Webster, Charlotte Randolph, Elizabeth Temple, Juliette Granville, Endora and Minerva. He was the third youngest of the twelve children. He had a half-brother and four half-sisters, named Albert J, Jealey, Sarah Ann, Elvira and Tabitha. He died at the age of 47 on June 11th, 1875 in Johnson Co., MO 47y 3m 24d. He was buried in 1875 in Cooper Cemetery, Jeferson Twp., Johnson Co., MO.2 1 General Notes
