John D Cooper 
John D was born on March 6th, 1779 in Nash Co., NC.1 John D's father was Marcome Cooper and his mother was Sarah Juliet Randolph. His paternal grandparents were David D Cooper and Elizabeth Wilder; his maternal grandparents were George Jackson and Elizabeth Wilder. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Vinson, Hardy, David Lee, George, William, William (Billy), Elizabeth Denton, Rhoda Deans and Mary Polly. He was the fifth youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 48 in 1827 in Wilson Co., TN.General Notes
