James Walker Clark

James Walker was born on January 13th, 1896.  James Walker's father was Matthew Buchanan Clark and his mother was Mary L.F.J. Cox.  His paternal grandparents were Pleasant Clark and Caroline Tharp. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Thomas Willis, Ples B, John Allic, Jeff Maxwell, Nancy Jane and Polly Ann.  He was the youngest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 42 on July 30th, 1938.  He was buried on July 30th, 1938 in Sewell Cemetery, Lafayette Co., AR.¹
