Ellen Monroe Bankhead

Ellen Monroe was born on September 5th, 1813 in Caroline Co., VA. Ellen Monroe's father was Charles Lewis Bankhead and her mother was Anne Cary Randolph. Her paternal grandparents were John Bankhead and Mary Warner Lewis; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Mann Jr Randolph and Martha Jefferson. She had three brothers and a sister, named John Warner, Thomas Mann Randolph, William Stewart Sr and Dau Randolph. She died at the age of 24 on January 6th, 1838.
