Dau Orr was born in 1810. Dau Orr's father was Hugh Orr and her mother was Mary Finley. Her paternal grandparents were Alexander Orr and Martha; her maternal grandparents were George Finley and Jeanne Lyle. She had three brothers and a sister, named Alexander Beard, George Finley, William McCain and Jane B. She was the second oldest of the five children. She died at the age of 10 in 1820.-
