Sophia Countess was born about 1151 in Of 'S-Gravenhage, Z-Holl., Netherlands.1 Sophia Countess' father was Dirk VI Count von Holland and her mother was Sofie Countess von Rheineck. Her paternal grandparents were Floris II " The Fat " Count von Holland and Petronille Prinzessin von Oberlothringen; her maternal grandparents were Otto Count von Rheineck and Gertrud Countess von Northeim. She had six brothers and three sisters, named Floris III Count, Otto Count, Bishop Boudewijn Count, Bishop Dirk Count, Robbrecht Count, Dirk Or, Hedwig Countess, Geertruid Countess and Petronella Countess. She died after 1212.1 -
