Aexander von Hessen-Philippsthal-Barchfeld 
Aexander was born in 1826. Aexander's father was Karl von Hessen-Philippsthal-Barchfeld and his mother was Sofie von Bentheim-Steinfort. His paternal grandparents were Adolf von Hessen-Philippsthal-Barchfeld and Luise von Sachsen-Meiningen. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Viktor, Alexis, Wilhelm, Bertha and Emilie. He was the third youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 15 in 1841.
