Friedrich von Hessen 
Friedrich was born in 1788. Friedrich's father was Ludwig I Landgraf von Hessen-Darmstadt and his mother was Louise von Hessen-Darmstadt. His paternal grandparents were Ludwig lX von Hessen-Darmstadt and Karoline Palatine von Zweibruecken-Birkenfeld. He had four brothers and a sister, named Ludwig II von Hessen und dem, Georg, Emil, Gustav and Luise. He was the third youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 79 in 1867.
