Nellie May Pearl was born on November 7th, 1884 in Sargent, Custer Co., NE.1 Nellie May Pearl's father was James Lewis Twiggs and her mother was Elizabeth Eliza Allen. Her maternal grandparents were Samuel James Allen and Margaret Jane Patch. She had three brothers and six sisters, named Edward William, James Earl, Henry Ishmael, Mary Elizabeth, Hattie Lavina, Myrtle Isabell, Cora Emma, Maggie Jane and Martha Angie. She was the fourth youngest of the ten children. She died due to Pnemonia at the age of 85 on May 25th, 1970 in East Peoria, Tazwell Co., IL.1 -
