Maggie Jane Twiggs 
Maggie Jane was born on February 9th, 1882 in East Peoria, Illinois.1 Maggie Jane's father was James Lewis Twiggs and her mother was Elizabeth Eliza Allen. Her maternal grandparents were Samuel James Allen and Margaret Jane Patch. She had three brothers and six sisters, named Edward William, James Earl, Henry Ishmael, Mary Elizabeth, Hattie Lavina, Myrtle Isabell, Cora Emma, Nellie May Pearl and Martha Angie. She was the fifth youngest of the ten children.1 -
