Andrei (Andrew) Vladimirovich was born in 1879. Andrei (Andrew) Vladimirovich's father was Vladimir Romanov and his mother was Marie Pavlovna. His paternal grandparents were Alexander II Nicholoevich Romanov von Russland and Marie von Hessen-Darmstadt; his maternal grandfather was Frederick Francis II Grand Duk von Mecklengb-Sch. He had two brothers and a sister, named Cyril Vladimirovitch, Boris and Helen Vladimirovna von Russland. He was the second youngest of the four children. He died at the age of 77 in 1956.-
