Ida May Orvis

Ida May was born on October 12th, 1863.¹   Ida May's father was John Ransom Orvis and her mother was Chaney Maranda Sweet. She had six brothers and four sisters, named Harris W., James A., Willis J., Wilbur R., George B., Burt D., Clara R., Laura E., Lillie B. and Cinda E..  She was the third oldest of the eleven children.  She died  due to Typhiod & Lung Fever at the age of 23 on October 11th, 1887.¹
