Mathilde Montbelliard

Mathilde was born about 1060 in Of Bar-Le-Duc, Meuse, France.¹   Mathilde's father was Louis Comte von Montbelliard and her mother was Sophie Comtesse von Bar.  Her paternal grandfather was Louis Count von Mousson; her maternal grandparents were Friedrich II Duke von Larraine and Mathilde von Suabe. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Brunon, Thierry II (Dietrich, Louis, Frederic, Sophie and Beatrix.  She was the third youngest of the seven children.  She died after 1105.¹
