Louis Montbelliard

Louis was born about 1056 in Of Bar-Le-Duc, Meuse, France.¹   Louis' father was Louis Comte von Montbelliard and his mother was Sophie Comtesse von Bar.  His paternal grandfather was Louis Count von Mousson; his maternal grandparents were Friedrich II Duke von Larraine and Mathilde von Suabe. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Brunon, Thierry II (Dietrich, Frederic, Mathilde, Sophie and Beatrix.  He was the third oldest of the seven children.  He died after 1105.¹
