Selman Carrington Knight 
Selman Carrington was born on February 5th, 1841 in Jasper County, GA.1 Selman Carrington's father was John Knight and his mother was Brunetta Middlebrooks. His paternal grandparents were John Knight and Mary Carrington; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Middlebrooks and Anna Selman. He had six brothers and eight sisters, named John C. Thomas, William Meakins, James Madison, Joseph Jefferson, Columbus Albinus, Jasper Stephens, Mary Emeline, Bethany Adaline, Sabina Ann, Sarah Thomas, Georgiana, Martha Catherine, Frances Elizabeth and Eugenia Jones. He was the fifth youngest of the fifteen children. He died at the age of 66 on February 15th, 1907 in Chambers County, AL.1 -
