Mary Emeline Knight 
Mary Emeline was born on April 7th, 1822 in Jasper County, GA.1 Mary Emeline's father was John Knight and her mother was Brunetta Middlebrooks. Her paternal grandparents were John Knight and Mary Carrington; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Middlebrooks and Anna Selman. She had seven brothers and seven sisters, named John C. Thomas, William Meakins, James Madison, Selman Carrington, Joseph Jefferson, Columbus Albinus, Jasper Stephens, Bethany Adaline, Sabina Ann, Sarah Thomas, Georgiana, Martha Catherine, Frances Elizabeth and Eugenia Jones. She was the oldest of the fifteen children.1 -
