Benjamin H. was born on June 22nd, 1822.1 Benjamin H.'s father was Thomas Fortson and his mother was Elmira Kinnebrew. His paternal grandparents were Benjamin Fortson and Elizabeth Gaines. He had two brothers and a sister, named Richard Easton, Edwin Kinnebrew and Rachel Ann. He was the oldest of the four children.1 -
