Almira Doane 
Almira was born on July 6th, 1809 in Brookfield, MA.1 Almira's father was Reuben Doane and her mother was Hannah Slayton. Her maternal grandparents were Phinihas Slaton and Eleanor Morey. She had four brothers and six sisters, named Reuben, Isaac, John Alexander, George Lafayette, Diana, Hannah, Lucy Adelaide, Adaline Augusta, Mercy Angeline and Lodowska. She was the fourth oldest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 38 on March 18th, 1848 in North Adams.1 -
